Certificate dated 20th June 1967 for 100
shares of par value $1.00 each of $3.00 cumulative convertible
preference stock.
This American petroleum
corporation was created in 1966 by the merger of Richfield Oil
Corporation and Atlantic Refining Company. A further merger in 1969
brought in Sinclair Oil Corporation. Atlantic Richfield has
petroleum operations in all parts of the United States as well as in
Indonesia, the North Sea, and the South China Sea. Issued to
Salmon Brothers & Hutzler, with the printed signatures of the
Chairman and P.E. Cundey, Treasurer of the company. Vignette of
woman with globe. Ornate purple border.
Certificate size is 20.5
cm high x 30.5 cm wide (8" x 12"). It will be mounted in a mahogany
frame, with gold inlay, size 31 cm high x 39 cm wide.
