The Garibaldi

Date of photo: 2012

The Garibaldi was open from about 1880 to 1895. The building on the corner of Mill Street and Gadsby Street still stands today opposite the Bunyan Meeting Church and Mill Hotel. It was named in honour of the visit to the town of the Italian patriot who visited the thriving agricultural industry in the town.
