The White Horse was situated at 1 Park Lane. This pub closed in 1986 and has now been demolished and replaced by housing.

My wife and I used to pick my mum up at 7 00pm on Sundays and go to the White Horse for Scampi and chips in a basket. Had to wait a bit but it was a treat and we loved going there.
