The Red Lion was situated on Woburn Road. This pub was present by 1780 and closed in 2004. It has now been demolished and replaced by new housing.

Name Dates Comments Tom Peckham c1950 One of my uncles on my mothers side was the landlord some years back, I think from memory around 1950. I remember staying there. My mother was born in heath. Her maiden name was Ashby. An aunt owned the village shop.
