The Five Bells was situated at 18 Church Street. This grade-II listed pub was present by 1822 and closed in 1975. It is now in residential use.

Listed building details:
Public House. C17. Timber framed construction, ground floor rebuilt in brick. Colourwashed render to ground floor, colourwashed plaster infill to first floor. C20 tile roof. 2-room plan, 2 storeys, Variety of casement windows, 2 to ground floor, 2 to first floor (one of which is to porch block). All have glazing bars. Central 2-storeyed porch with hipped roof in line with red brick double ridge stack. Plank door under flat hood on cut brackets. To R of porch is one storey lean-to addition. C20 2-storeyed addition projects from rear.
