The Harrow Inn was situated at 74 Woodside Road. This pub was present by 1787 and closed in 2012. It has now been converted to a private house.
In the mid 1960s, the landlord was Major Birtley. Harold? He was instrumental in campaigning against the gypsy encampments around Caddington and regularly appeared in the Luton News. Some friends and I used to go there around 1966.
