The Fleur De Lys was situated on the A330. This pub is said to have been built as a station for the Windsor-Ascot Railway as proposed by GWR but the Southern Railway company at that time objected and the line never was built.

Peter Lawry early 1970s The landlord was Peter Turner who sold it on to Ian & Val Fenton. I was a policeman at the time in Bracknell. I lived at 2 Holly Cottages with Fianach Jardine and played cricket for local club. Some names i can recall are Mike & Anne Holmes (milkman),Marg &tom Saunders,Mark Dean,Charlie Jones & sons Eric & Duncan dave Hollis ,Peter Hughes,John Prince, Tony & Worm Fenton (Next Door neighbours) and many more.
