The Lamb was situated at 5 Charnham Street. This pub closed in January 2011, and was known as The Five Bar Grill for a short time. The earliest reference to this pub is in the 1823 Pigots Directory.

My partner ran the Lamb in Hungerford until it closed. He once ran down the street naked after a burglar disturbed the pub in the night. There was an article done in the local paper entitled ‘The Naked Landlord’. I’ve looked online but I can’t find any record of it but I’d love to see it.
