The Seven Stars was situated on Bath Road. This Brakspears pub closed in February 2012. It was a 17th century coaching inn and listed building was said to be haunted by at least four ghosts: a horse man dressed in black, a headless woman and a bonnet-wearing woman accompanied by a ghost dog.
