The Military Arms was situated on Queens Road. This pub was in existence in the 1870s and closed in the 1960s. It is now used as a corner shop.

The Military Arms was originally on the corner site of Queens road Reading, number 84. This was from 1875 under James Tyrell. From 1901 the pub was relocated across the road, but on the same side, to number 106 Queens Road. Interestingly, the old site now is where Wesley Church is located.
