The Pin & Bowl was situated on Finchampstead Road. This pub closed in 1992 and was demolished shortly afterwards, with a small trading estate built on the site.

Penny Browne	1980s	I was a friend of Jane and Tim Best, children of the publicans Lennie and Joan Best. Fond memories of Lennie and his vibes which radio 4 used to record live in the pubs studio.
