The Hundred Of Ashendon was situated at
Lower End. This pub originally started life as The Red Lion, before changing
name to first The Gatehangers (mid 20th century) and then The Hundred Of
Ashendon, and in so doing becoming a restaurant and small hotel as well as
remaining the village pub. It closed in 2022. |
