The Bull was situated on Chesham Road.

Almost a carbon copy of The Pheasant in Ballinger. To their credit Allied Breweries did put a fair bit of money into this pub in the 1980s and it was heaving for a time. But a fast turnover of tenants and few further funds invested for routine maintenance meant that its custom tailed off. A really attractive little rustic mish-mash of a building with a pretty garden. It is a great shame that The Bull no longer operates as a pub. Currently owned by the local brickworks who had hoped to exploit the clay deposits behind the pub, there is a very slight possibility that it may regain its former function but the odds are probably stacked against it.
