The Unicorn was situated on Bois Moor Lane. This pub was first recorded in 1770, had been rebuilt in 1889 and was to have been renamed the Railway Hotel (the Chesham branch line originally stopped here on the Moor). It was unusual in that the front rooms were in Chesham Bois and the back rooms in Chesham!"
