The Green Man was on Beaconsfield Road at the north end of
the village. The building is 18th century and grade-II listed. In 2002 it
became a guest house and now planning permission has been granted for change
of use to residential. |

C18. Blue and red brick in header
bond; old tile-hipped roof. Two storeys. First floor with 2 sashes and a
bricked-in central window. Ground floor with 2 sashes with lattice shutters
and a 6-panel door with door-case of Roman Doric fluted pilasters carrying
an entablature only. On left hand, modern one-storey addition. On right
hand, a single-storeyed lean-to with a sash window with shutters. |
