The Duncombe Arms was previously known as the New Inn. It is now used as a private house.

Some of the famous code breakers who worked at Bletchley Park were billeted here during WW2. They included Gordon Welchman, Patrick Wilkinson & Frank Birch. The billiard room became a social club of Bletchley Park.
