The Coach & Horses was situated at 40 Easton Street. This pub has now been demolished.

The Landlords in the mid 50’s were a Mr & Mrs Dent, their daughter Jennifer was at St Bernard’s Convent School London Road with me. From the age of 4, I had to walk to and from school twice a day, a mile each way, and envied Jennifer who had to walk about 200 yards!

Lesley Hodgins   My parent were frequent customers. I played with the landlords' daughter, in the Tap Room with our lead farm animals and outside in the back garden. I had ballet lessons upstairs for a number of years. Very kind hearted landlords but I don't remember any names. I live in America on the beautiful Oregon coast and just celebrated my 79th birthday. Sad to hear the old building is torn down.
