The Wheatsheaf was situated at 2 High Street.
This pub was built in 1399 and is the oldest secular building in High
Wycombe. The first known publican is Thomas Butterfield, during the English
Civil War. It has been in commercial use in the 20th century as a pharmacy,
tobacconist and dry cleaner. |
