The Woolpack was situated at 40/41 Oxford Street.  This pub was originally known as The Old Angel, but changed its name to The Woolpack in the late 19th century. It closed in 1959. The pub has since been demolished and replaced by more modern units, currently a restaurant/grill is at 40 Oxford Street.
