The Old Green Man was situated on Watling Street. This grade-II listed pub closed in 2012 and is now in residential use.

Listed building details:
Public House. C18 colour washed brick, concrete tiled gambrel roof with flanking chimneys and central hipped 2 light dormer, Bracketted wood eaves cornice. 2 storeys and attic, 1st floor band. South front has 3 bays upper sash windows in reveals, outer 3 light sashes on ground floor flanking 6 panelled door, upper panels glazed, under open pediment hood on cut brackets, approached by 4 brick steps. Lower wing on left, formerly 2 cottages, C18 altered, painted rendering, tiled roof, 2 small dormers. 2 storeys and attic, front of 4 bays, 4 pane sashes to 2 LH bays on 1st floor, sash window and modern door to ground floor, altered windows to RH. Modern 1 storey brick extension to RH of public house.
