The White Lion was situated on Bell Street. This grade II listed building is now used as an antiques shop.

How well I remember this pub, from the time I was a Post Office Counter clerk, employed at Aylesbury.  I was seconded to Princes Risborough Post Office for a lengthy period in the mid-1970's, and would regularly repair to the White Lion when we closed the office between 1 and 2 p.m. for lunch.
