The Crown

Alan Turing, a computer scientist working at Bletchley Park, lodged at the
Crown from 1939 to 1944. In 1940, fearing a German invasion, he converted
his savings into two silver bars and buried them nearby but forgot exactly
where and was never able to find them. I understand that the Crown is now a
private house. |
