Name Dates Comments
Jack Gomarsall 1957/1962 My Mum and Dad ,Tom Olive Gomarsall were licence's of The Two Brewers from the above dates and I attended the John Colet until 5th form and the Aylesbury Tech college fo 6th form. I would love to hear from any customers or school colleges.
Gordon Head 1964/1966 The two brewers was the adopted pub for the 106th entry at Halton. My lasting memory is of the Scots landlord with a huge range of whiskey in his collection in the back room.
Keith Crown 1974/1978 Worked part time for Fred Fleming.
Terry Glaysher 1969/1972 Remember it well. Fred Fleming and his wife were the landlords when I was there. Fred was a great jazz fan and on the night Louis Arnstrong died he dimmed all the lights in the pub and by candle light he played Armstrong favourites on his trumpet, despite his dodgy arm. Every hogmanay He did an exclusive 8 course dinner in the back restaurant for his favourite customers...appropriate wines with every course and Bells whisky with the haggis, needs and tatties.
