The Dunham Arms was situated on Chester Road.

This pub has now undergone a major refurbishment and is open and trading again.

I used to frequent this place when it was Memories fun pub in the 1980s.  It was packed beyond capacity and it was great fun. Legs Up Lucy and Roxy Hart were on at the time and it was run by Tony and his son Gary RIP. Sadly Gary is no longer with us, and Tony also owned Henry Africas in Oldham.
