The Travellers Call was situated at 23-25 Wakefield Road.

Plans have been submitted to convert the pub into a house of multiple occupation. A blue plaque on the building which commemorates the life of soldier John Buckley who was awarded the Victoria Cross from Queen Victoria, would be retained in its current position.
