Regular customer as I lived nearly next door on
Wellington Road N - especially the quiz nights on Mondays. |

It had doors fixed to the ceiling for some reason. Our
children attended St Thomas’s school opposite and the skips for the
newspaper collection every few weeks to raise funds for the school were
put in the car park behind the shops near the pub. After the mornings
work we used to go to the pub for a drink and chips for the children. |

Lived in Norfolk Ave. A regular
customer when 18 (!) played darts and dominoes in the snug (?) |
