The Railway was situated at 1 Avenue Street. This pub closed in January 2022 and was demolished in the July of the same year to make way for a 16,000 sq. ft. retail unit. The pub was voted Pub of the Year in 2007 by its local Camra branch and had gone through brief incarnations as Byrons and Cheekies.
