The Silver Jubilee was situated at 21 Hamilton Square. This pub replaced a former pub called the Oddfellows Arms and upon its construction in 1977, was named the Silver Jubilee to coincide with the occasion of the 25th year of Queen Elizabeth's ascension to the throne, rather than the previously-decided 'Odd Spots' moniker. A Robinson's brewery like its predecessor (the former since 1881), the pub closed in 2021 following the retirement of its long-serving landlord and planning permission to convert it into a day-care nursery was granted in 2022.
