building details: |
Public house. Probably early C19.
Stucco with plinth; bitumen-grouted rag slate roof; brick end stacks;
cast-iron ogee gutter. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 4-window 1st-floor
range. Mid/late C19 four-pane hornless sashes except for horned copies to
2nd floor right and to ground floor. Pilastered doorway with moulded
entablature and 4-panel door central to left-hand side; blocked window to
2nd floor above; wide carriage doorway on the right. Interior: not
inspected. Subsidiary features: 3-step rubble and granite mounting block to
far left. |
