The
Boslowick Inn was situated on Prislow Lane.The
building that sits here today was built at the turn of the 19th century it
was converted to a public house in the mid 1960s its said that some of the
building dates back to the 1300s Stonegate obtained this building in 2019
just before they were bought out the new company decided to get rid of this
historic building to developers even though it had a regular trade The pub
closed on the 17th of October 2021 and will be one day demolished There are
people trying to get this place saved but at the moment as we head into
Febuary the future does not look to good for this historic out of town
public house. |
