The
Seven Stars was situated
on Boscawen Street. This 18th century pub was demolished when the Corn
Exchange was built. In 1827 it was stated that "the front of the house has
lately been taken down and rebuilt in an elegant style". The accommodation
was kitchens, parlour, a large dining room and 11 bedchambers with extensive
cellars, brewhouse, stables, a very large Backlet |
