The Fox & Hounds was situated on King Street. This pub was previously known as The Hare & Hounds. It came under the State Management Scheme in November 1918 and came back into the private sector when it was sold to Jennings Brewery for £14,800 in 1973. Closed c2007, it is has now been converted into two dwellings.
