Sun Inn |

|
|
The Sun Inn was closed c1980. It was run by a
chap called Alan McSherry and his wife. Alan drove an ancient Reliant Robin.
The pub was always packed, especially the little room on the left as you
went it, which had the piano in it. Darts was the favourite game in there,
with dominoes coming a close second. The legendary Slalom lager in it's
original form was served here - I believe the yeast was nicked from
Carlsberg! Proper old English pub - we'll probably never see the likes of it
again. |
