The White Horse was situated on Great Dockray.  The brick-coloured building in the photo below was its own brewery.
This hotel/pub was run by a guy called Fred /Pat the Boss an absolute gentleman who loved a lock in i hope that his family are all well its been a long time and many of the old faces have probably passed on since my last visit I know my fathers has and he loved Fred i met a special woman back then and hope that if she ever reads this know she’s had a good life and built a family for herself
