The Ring Of Bells was situated at 53-57 Church Street.  This grade-II listed pub is now in residential use.
 
Listed building details:
Early C18 range with later alterations, part of same building as No 5l. Formerly the "Ring of Bells" Inn. Chequered brick with bands. Old tiled roof. 2 storeys and attics; 3 later windows in moulded wood frames, 3 modest moulded wood doorcases, 2 coupled on eastern side. All original window recesses of lower storey blocked and later sashes inserted. 3 gabled dormers with moulded bargeboards.
