The Castle Arms was situated at the junction of Station Road and Woodhouse Lane.  This pub was opened in 1959, with the licence being transferred from the Nags Head further up Station Road at no. 54, when that pub closed in 1958. The Castle Arms is now “Just Roll With It” Cake and Coffee Shop
