Prince Of Wales, Brimington

Opened in the 1860s, the Prince Of Wales has also been known as the Brimington Tavern and The Warren. Situated on Manor Road, the pub closed in 2007 and has now been demolished.

My grandparents Isaac Mapes & Mary Elizabeth (Savage) were given the licence for the above pub on their wedding day in 15 Nov 1900 by her father John Grocock Savage who was also the licencee of the Red Lion Inn, Church St, Brimington, Derbyshire.
