The Plough Inn was situated on Main Road. This pub closed in 2007.

It was bought in 1963 by my uncle, Gerard Woolf and his wife. They transformed the pub from a basic village pub into a successful pub/restaurant. They sold it in the early '70s. I was last there in the late '80s.
