The Coach House was situated at 104-108 Old Road. Old Road used to be the main thoroughfare through the village of Whaley Bridge and The Coach House provided welcome rest and refreshment for many weary travellers. The pub was closed after the main road was diverted along the current route of the B5470 and A5004. The property is now three private dwellings.
