The Halfway Inn was situated on Ashburton Road. It closed in early 2014 when the pub and land around it was bought by Redrows to build a large housing estate, stretching from Bickington to Mile End, Newton Abbot. This was the last pub in Bickington.
It looks as though this pub is now being redeveloped with a view to reopening.
