The Golden Hinde was situated at 10 Cooper Street. This grade-II listed pub is now in commercial use.
Listed building details:
Public House. Early or mid C19. Solid rendered front. Slated roof. Rendered chimney on right side-wall. 2 storeys. Irregular fenestration; ground storey has 2 windows to left, doorway to right, while upper storey has 1 window at each end. Front flanked by pilaster-strips which rise to a raised band below the eaves. Doorway has broad, plain architrave; late C20 panelled wooden door, deeply recessed. Windows have 8-paned sashes in recessed box-frames. Interior not inspected.
