Fred Carslake 1948/1952 My father, Alfred Carslake, ran this pub along with its B&B.
Sandra Delves 1948/1952 Publican's daughter, they were Alfred Carslake and Helena(Lena) Carslake Lena died in 1952 when I was 9yrs old.
Philip Brown 1972/1973 I was in the Royal Navy and we escorted the royal Yacht into Dartmouth me and my friends then used to regularly come back from Plymouth and stay in the Royal Oak I've got some real good memories of Dartmouth best mate of the time that used to come with me was Eddie O'Brien
