The Carpenters Arms was situated on Old Town Street. Possibly began life as a Beer Retailer but by 1870 was licensed as an Ale/Ciderhouse. It became a tied Dawlish Brewery House which was passed on to Heavitree Breweries in 1926. Sold by the brewery in 1933 but unknown for further use in the trade or for other uses. Closure date unknown.
