New London Hotel

The New London Hotel was situated on London Inn Square. This was a coaching inn that opened in 1794 on the site of the Oxford Inn. One of the chief inns of Exeter, Charles Dickens and Robert Louis Stevenson stayed there. It closed in November 1935 and was demolished to make way for a cinema.
