The Barbican
was situated on Looe Street. Known as The Barbican Arms until the 1980s, this pub was called
The Tap & Spile, then The Porter
(see photo below), until eventually closing. It reopened as The Barbican Tavern and closed again in
2011. |

This pub has now reopened as The Porter. |
