The
Tamar Inn was situated on Morshead Road. This pub was present by 1856 as a
beerhouse, originally called The First & Last. It changed its name to The
Tamar Inn in the 1880s by the then owner William Henry Cudlip. Demolished by
the mid 1890s to make way for a new army barracks. |
