The
New Inn was situated
at 7 The Strand. A butchers shop was built on
the site following the demolition of the pub. |
|
My 2nd great grand Aunt Susan Tapper White (nee Loveys) left
her share of this pub in her will of 1871 to her step daughter Mary Eliza
White. |
I give and devise unto my said step-daughter Mary Eliza White absolutely all
that my share of and in the house and premises situate at Shaldon in the
county of Devon aforesaid called or commonly known by the name of the New
Inn and now or lately in the occupation of Mr Thysic as tenant thereof. |
