The Three Tuns closed in April 2015.  It is likely to be converted to residential use with housing built on the car park.

My Grandad used to own and live in the end part of this property during the 1960s when it was a separate house. I guess it was purchased by the owners of the pub when he eventually sold and moved out and incorporated into the pub. There was no central heating, only one cold tap in the scullery, toilet at the end of the garden and a cooking range in the main downstairs room. Two bedrooms upstairs accessed by a rickety staircase and uneven floors.
