The Prince Of Wales Inn was situated on Fore Street. This pub was demolished to make way for road improvements. Built on the site of an earlier pub called The Exeter Inn.

Paul Ralph 1951/1956 Myself and my sister Rosalind and brother Tim were all born in this pub. The landlord at the time was my maternal grandfather Lewis Vooght. During the war years he and my grandmother ran the Bird in Hand also in Teignmouth. It was hit by a bomb. Luckily for them and my mother they were out at the time.
