Monmouth Inn

The Monmouth Inn was situated at 9 Monmouth Street. This pub was present by 1865. Previously known as, and named after, The Duke Of Monmouth because of a visit he made to this building for supporters in his quest for the throne in 1680, when it was a private building. Now in residential use.
